This is a tutorial made with the sole purpose of teaching you how to crack your Artcam 2012 using only WinRAR. The key to cracking this camera is to create a folder with an image, for example “crack img1” and name it “.artcam”. Then, go into the folder and rename all images in it to “crack img2” and so on. Then, go into the crack folder and rename the “.artcam” image to “.artcam crack” using a hex editor. Now you have a “crack” image which you can use for testing out different versions. To set up WinRAR, install it and go to its tools – “File Manager” tab – select the folder you want to crack and then click the "Extract..." button. In this tutorial I will just be describing how to use WinRAR from its GUI, but it is probably easier to do from its command line interface if you have any experience with that kind of stuff. If you don't, it's all trial and error, but trial and error is the best way to learn. So let's get cracking. If you want to try to crack it manually, it's probably easier if you already have an Artcam 2012 serial number. Download “artcam2012_with_crack.rar” from Photobucket. Extract it. Launch WinRAR via the start menu, or by navigating to the folder where you extracted the Artcam 2012 crack file. You should see a folder called “artcam2012_with_crack”. If not, find it through Windows Explorer. Navigate to the "artcam2012_with_crack" folder and then into “artcam2012 crack”. Then rename both of these images to “artcam2012 crack 1” and “artcam2012 crack 2” using a hex editor, overwriting any image on them already named that way. Navigate back to the “artcam2012_with_crack” folder and then into “images”. Now rename all of these images to “images 1” and so on. Again, navigate back to the “artcam2012_with_crack” folder and then into “crack img1”. Rename the image in here to “crack img2” using a hex editor, overwriting any image on it already named that way.
